Blue Cheongsam Top and Black Sateen Skirt

So by this time, I was already addicted to sewing and I started experimenting with different types of garment and fabric.
I bought this oriental fabric from Spotlight and a matching black sateen fabric for the skirt.

Now, I need to find frog closure to complete this project.
I haven’t been lucky in my search :-(
If anyone know an awesome shop that sells frog closure, please let me know.
I’m trying not to buy on eBay from overseas seller, if I can. I might have to resort to that though.

Collar Sleeved Dress

One of the reason why I haven’t got a chance to update my blog is because I’ve been busy practising my sewing skill.

This is my second garment sewing project. (The first one was a pair of work pants, which was a really fun and simple project to start with)

This is another sewing project I undertook to test if I should pursuit this new hobby :-)
It’s a challenging project, involving lots of new techniques, but I made it in the end.

I have to say sewing is way a lot faster to complete than knitting.
This dress was completed in 2 days (1 weekend).

(Completed 29th Sept)

Seawave Scarf

Wow, it’s been a few months since my last posting. I’ve finally got back to my busy crafting schedule and complete my projects. :-)

I bought this amazing Touch yarn during my last trip to New Zealand and have been looking for the right scarf pattern for it.
I’ve finally found the perfect one.
This pattern was from Better Homes and Gardens magazine. The pattern is called Seawave.
