Aurora Wave Tank Top

After gathering all my odd remains of yarn, I found 4 colours that happened to match gorgeously for this tank top.
I had my eye on this pattern from Feminine Knits (by Lene Holmes Samsoe) (Chevron Tank - Page 23) for a very long time and finally had  a chance to make it.

The pattern is easy to follow and I have to say it's very relaxing knitting this wavy lace pattern.

The straps are adjustable with 3 buttonholes:

Available in AU Size 8 both in my MadeIt and Etsy store.

Embrace Kid Silk Luxurious Wrap

I bought this DROPS Kid Silk yarns by mistake.
It’s a fortunate mistake indeed, just look at this beautiful shade of purple. J

I remembered I knitted this gorgeous wrap for a friend and I really like the pattern, check out this free pattern from Garnstudio, so I knitted a scaled down version of it using this Kid Silk yarn.

The lace leaves pattern is just beautiful, and so addictive once you get the hang of it!
Available for purchase in my MadeIt store.

Personally, I like this wrap a little bit narrow, so I adjusted the pattern to reduce 1 repetition of the lace leaves. (Cast on 93 stitches instead of 107)

Elegant Lacey Kimono in RED

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this on my blog! This wrap around jacket was completed months ago.
See, I’ve been busy knitting, I just forgot to post it here. So, if you don’t see updates on my blog, it only means 1 thing, I’m too busy knitting.

Now, back to the main topic, I saw this pattern on Garnstudio and I really really loved it. I think it’s elegant, beautiful, and the colour is just amazing.
So, I looked up DROPSVerdi yarn and started to choose colour, when I realised, the pattern only needs 1 ball of Verdi. I thought, What?! Seriously? So I went ahead and bought 1.

When it arrives at my door, I was so shocked, it’s HUGE!

Haha, I completed the jacket in record time of 11 days. And I still have half a ball of Verdi, which is currently filing up space in my stash. I need to knit up something pronto!!

Lacey Baby Beanie

I really need to use up my Panda Magnum yarn so I quickly knitted these 2 baby beanies.
The pattern is very interesting; it’s using a new technique I’ve never used before.

First, I had to knit the lace part and then the ribs band separately.
Here comes the interesting part, I knitted them together (join knit) and continue on the beanie crown.
Available for purchase in my MadeIt store.

I also knitted another one using Patons Totem yarn in shade of soft pink.

Spring 2012 Cute Knitted Dress with Out-Of-This-World Laces

This project has been in my queue for a very looonngg time.
Finally, made it to the top of the queue this year. Just in time for spring.
I allocated 1 month for completion of this dress, but completed in 2 weeks. Winning!!

This dress pattern is of course from Garnstudio, I’m a big fan.
And please please please, check out this range of colour of DROPS Safran yarn.
Seriously, if this doesn’t make you want to knit, I don’t know what will....
It’s like they have all the amazing colour there is on earth.

Amazing laces at the bottom of the dress:
