Sweet Angel Flower Girl Gift Set Bag, Bracelet and Flower Headbands

When I browsed through and choose yarns to be used for the Sweet Georgia little girls handbags, I walked past this amazingly soft and fluffy yarn and I cannot miss it.
So I bought 3 different shades of white, lavender, and mint.

They turned out to be perfect for this project that I have been thinking about.
This is a set for flower girls, a shoulder bag and a variety of flower hair accessories and also a flower bracelet.

Spring Sparkle Hair Ties

Recently, I moved interstate from Sydney to Melbourne. And I brought with me my stash of remain yarns. So I decided to make small projects that can use up this yarn.

This pair of hair ties are sold as pair in my Etsy store
They're my favourite crochet flower with some added blings.

Sweet Georgia - Little Girls Handbags and Matching Hair Clips

A few months ago, before my overseas trip to back home, I made a few of this handbag and hair clips for my friends' daughters. They absolutely love them.
So, I decided to make more of them, in different bright colours.

The pattern for the bag is from Garnstudio, my favourite pattern website.

And I used to shop for their yarns, but it's too difficult to get the yarns to Australia now.
I can't find shops that have a decent postage fee from UK to AU.
It's a pity, because their Drops yarns are fantastic. Great range of material, beautiful shades of colours, and good price too.

The hair clips are a little addition, that I thought would be cute for little girls. :)

Upcycling Project - Amora Dress

Hello all,
It's been a few months since my last post. I'm sprinting to get winter projects done and ready for sale on my new Etsy store.
After the Alicia Dress project was completed, I undertook another upcycling project to combine this boring red T-shirt:

And, I have this floral shirt with beautiful pattern.

The idea was to combine these 2 and create something more-ish, upcycling them from casual to semi formal.

So, the first thing that I did, I cut off the red T-shirt top to alter it to become a one-shoulder sleeve type. Tidied up the cut edges after that.
And then, I took out the one remaining sleeve and modify it to become a balloon cap sleeve, just because I think it looks pretty. :)

With the floral shirt, it was simply cutting the top part and utilising the remaining bit as a floral skirt with elastic gathering on the waist line.

Combining them together, and I got this:
